Wester originally joined the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2016 season, playing 27 games, over his three years in Tampa Bay, and even added a receiving touchdown against the Detroit Lions in 2017. Wester played in all 16 games for the Bucs in 2018 and will now rejoin the team’s former offensive line coach, George Warhop, in Jacksonville.
Wester was a restricted free agent this offseason but wasn’t tendered by Tampa Bay.
