NBC Sports Peter King visited One Buc Place on Tuesday and spent time interviewing rookie linebacker Devin White, head coach Bruce Arians and quarterback Jameis Winston.
In a video released on Wednesday, King asked Winston about some of the two sport(baseball/football) athletes like Kyler Murray and if Winston thought it would be possible to moonlight playing baseball one day, something he did while at Florida State.
“it’s definitely one of my dreams, something I would look forward to, but right now man, I have to focus on being the best quarterback I can be to handle things on this side,” Winston said.

Before fans panic, Winston appears to be 100 percent committed to the football by all indications, and may have been put on the spot by King. Winston did boast a career 1.95 ERA in 60 innings pitching at Florida State, but as seen by Tim Tebow and Michael Jordan, going from one professional sport to the major leagues in baseball is difficult to say the least. With a huge potential pay day looming, Winston would be best served throwing fastballs at Mike Evans than trying to get them past Christian Yelich.
