Fans who bought tickets to the Bucs game against the Colts certainly got their money’s worth. In a highly entertaining, back-and-forth contest, Tampa Bay was able to seize momentum in the fourth quarter and held on for an exciting 38-35 win over Indianapolis.

Despite the win, there were still some players who didn’t have their best games on Sunday.

Below is our weekly Most Disappointing feature.

S Andrew Adams
Adams struggled on Sunday, allowing a 46-yard touchdown on quarterback Jacoby Brissett’s first pass attempt of the game.

Adams appeared the culprit of multiple big gains from the Colts and gave away 15 yards on a personal foul penalty for hitting Indianapolis running back Marlon Mack late on a 13-yard carry in the third quarter. The Colts would go on to score a touchdown later in the drive where wide receiver Zach Pascal hauled in the pass between Adams and Davis.

Offensive Line
The offensive line had some struggles in both the run and pass game on Sunday with the absence of Alex Cappa who say out with an arm injury.

Tampa Bay’s line allowed Winston to be consistently pressured while providing next to no running lanes as the Bucs’ running backs averaged just 2.9 yards per carry on the day. Offensive tackle Demar Dotson cost the Bucs 20 yards in the first quarter when a 10-yard run by Ronald Jones was wiped out by a holding penalty, leading to a first-and-20 situation that Tampa Bay would fail to climb out of, resulting in a punt from their own territory.

Despite just one sack, Winston was hit six times. Still there were periods of solid play as evidenced by the Bucs 542 yards of offense and 38 points. But once again there was way too many one yard, no gain, or negative runs on the afternoon.

S Jordan Whitehead
Whitehead had an uncharacteristically poor performance on Sunday, given what a reliable player he’s typically been for Tampa Bay’s defense this year.

Whitehead specifically had trouble in coverage, resulting in a holding penalty in the first half, although he did finish the game with a team-leading eight total tackles.

RB Dare Ogunbowale
Ogunbowale is the team’s two-minute and third-down back, and has been decent for much of the year, but in the first quarter on Sunday Ogunbowale coughed up the football after a reception from quarterback Jameis Winston, leading to three points for the Colts and a 10-0 first quarter lead. Ogunbowale did redeem himself somewhat with four other receptions and finished the afternoon with five catches for 48 yards.
