The Bucs continued to add to their depth at wide receiver on Monday as Tampa Bay has taken a hit at the position with recent injuries to Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Scotty Miller, all from hamstring injuries. After signing Spencer Schnell to the practice squad, the Bucs have signed wide receiver Cyril Grayson Jr. to the 53-man roster, according to Grayson Jr’s agent, Michael Katz.

With the Bucs playing on a shorter week on Saturday, Tampa Bay needed to act quickly to add to their roster and get players acclimated to the playbook. Both Grayson Jr. and Schnell worked out with for the Bucs last week before signing on Monday.
Grayson Jr. played for the New Orleans Saints in the preseason and was on the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad, where the Bucs signed him off of. Grayson Jr. did not play college football, but was a four-time NCAA Champion and seven-time All-American as a track star at LSU. Known for his speed, Grayson Jr. ran a 4.33 during his 40-yard dash during his pro day in 2017.
