PewterReport.com is excited to announce the newest member of the PR team, Jon Ledyard, who will serve as one of our main Bucs beat writers and NFL Draft experts. Ledyard, who currently resides in Pennsylvania, comes to PewterReport.com after years as a beat writer covering the Pittsburgh Steelers – a team he’s followed since the days when Bucs head coach Bruce Arians was the Steelers offensive coordinator.
Ledyard has a passion for the NFL Draft and spent years with former PewterReport.com Bucs beat writer Trevor Sikkema doing the weekly Locked On NFL Draft podcast, and most recently helped develop and launch The Draft Network website. Ledyard first met PewterReport.com publisher Scott Reynolds through Sikkema at the 2018 Senior Bowl and the two conversed again at the NFL Scouting Combine a month later.

After dozens of in-depth conversations with Reynolds over the years, Ledyard was the clear choice to replace Sikkema upon his departure to Charlotte. Ledyard will be moving his family to Tampa over the summer to cover Bucs training camp and the regular season on a full-time basis. In the meantime, Ledyard will author a weekly Bucs column during the offseason and will also be providing Bucs-centric coverage of the NFL Draft.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be joining a tremendous team at PewterReport.com to cover the Bucs and the NFL Draft,” Ledyard said. “My previous stops have taken me all around the NFL media scene over the past six years, from covering the Pittsburgh Steelers at Steelers Depot or Scout.com’s Steel City Insider, to writing about the league as a whole for the FanRag Sports network, to operating NFL Draft sites at USA Today’s The Draft Wire and, most recently, The Draft Network.”
Reynolds is excited to have such an experienced and well-respected NFL reporter like Ledyard, who has over 40,000 Twitter followers, join PewterReport.com.
“PewterReport.com is always on the look out for new talent, and everyone I spoke to about Jon raved about his work ethic, his knowledge of the game, his passion to cover football and the NFL Draft,” Reynolds said. “I know he will be an excellent addition to the PR team. Perhaps Jon’s biggest endorsement came from Trevor, who first introduced me to him over a year ago, and that means a lot to me for obvious respect and admiration for Trevor.
“I’ve been a big fan of Jon’s work for quite a while, and I’ve seen his growth and development from afar. I am thrilled to work with him beginning in Indianapolis where he will be helping us cover the NFL Scouting Combine for PewterReport.com later this month. Jon really knows football and will be providing some video breakdowns and analysis of the Bucs for us in a similar capacity to the way Trevor did, and I think Bucs fans and our Pewter Nation audience will really come to eagerly anticipate and enjoy his work.”
Ledyard is eager to engage with Bucs fans and our PewterReport.com readers on the site in the article comments section and on Twitter (follow him at @LedyardNFLDraft).

“Those of you who have followed my work at my many stops for years, I’m so grateful for your support every step of the journey,” Ledyard said. “You all are the reason I’m at Pewter Report now, and I truly can’t thank you enough. I’ll be doing tons of Bucs-specific work obviously, but if you’ve followed me for my draft or NFL coverage before, there will be plenty of analysis in those areas as well. So stick around!
“For those of you who are just hearing of me for the first time, I’m so excited to connect with you on Twitter, through the PewterReport.com website, and hopefully in person in the Tampa area once we move down this summer. Nobody has done a better job of covering the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the years than Pewter Report, and I’m thrilled to be onboard with a group that understands how comprehensive, year-round coverage of an NFL team should look. Hopefully I can be a pivotal part of those efforts for years to come. If so, I’ll have all of you to thank for it.”
