On the most recent episode of The GM Shuffle with Michael Lombardi and Adnan Virk, Lombardi reported that the Bucs are reportedly looking to move tight end O.J. Howard, the team’s first round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

“I get a phone call a day later from somebody in the league and they said look, I don’t think Howard’s going to be on the team, they’re trying to trade him,'” Lombardi said. “They wanted a second round pick for him at the trade deadline and no one would give it.”

Lombardi continued.

“I think Howard’s got a great name but I think that there’s an instinctive issue going on and I think he’s going to be available. It would not surprise me if he was traded on draft day or the day before.”

In a disappointing third season, the former first round pick totaled 459 yards and a career-low one touchdown on 34 receptions.
