Carson Palmer joined The Jim Rome Show on Tuesday and discussed his feelings on the new duo of Bucs quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bruce Arians, Palmer’s former coach in Arizona, and what that “no risk it, no biscuit” offense may look like with Tampa Bay.

“I love the mesh,” Palmer said. “There’s not doubt, it’s not going to be Bruce’s offense from 2016 in Arizona or 2012 in Pittsburgh. There’s going to be some changes.”

Palmer discussed the openness of Arians to work with his quarterbacks, claiming that Brady will bring dozens of plays and concepts that he loves and feels comfortable with that will find their way into the offense. Palmer even argued that when he didn’t like a play while they were game-planning with Arizona, Arians would rip the a page out of the playbook.

“He’s very open,” Palmer said. “Especially when he’s getting insight and ideas from Tom Brady. He’ll listen to them and they’ll move forward. I really like the gel and the mesh of these two minds and histories in this league, coming together and hopefully forming another Super Bowl run for Brady.”
