The Bucs have impressed in training camp, especially with Tom Brady and the offense. You really see how this team is better. They’re more precise, and we’ve seen players like Mike Evans and Scotty Miller have great camps with Brady here.
But what about the defensive side of the ball? They haven’t gotten as much attention as the offense, though that doesn’t mean they’re not performing as well either. One thing to keep notice of is the secondary, with their top corners. Less interceptions are happening, but that’s because of Brady. Rookie corner Parnell Motley is a guy that has been getting interceptions and impressing so far, and it looks like he’ll make the roster.
Overall there’s around still a lot of competition left for the last roster spots, and a lot of that will be determined in Friday’s scrimmage. What are the top battles left and who are we looking a specifically? Find out which positions we’re looking at in the new Pewter Nation Podcast.
