After his second 3-sack performance of the year, Bucs linebacker Devin White has won the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Week award for a second time this season. All three sacks came in the fourth quarter against Atlanta, with the first two coming on pivotal third downs.

White finished Sunday’s game with 12 tackles, three sacks, four tackles-for-loss and two pass breakups, completing his best game in a Buccaneers uniform after the second-year linebacker had struggled mightily the past few weeks. On the season, White has 130 tackles, 13 tackles-for-loss and eight sacks, and now has five career sacks against the Falcons in three meetings with the division rival. White will get Atlanta once more in Week 17, and has two games left to attempt to hit double-digit sacks for the season.
