The Bucs announced on Wednesday that they have activated inside linebacker Kevin Minter from the league’s reserve/COVID-19 list, allowing the veteran to return to practice ahead of the Bucs’ NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

In Minter’s absence, Tampa Bay activated recently-signed linebackers Deone Bucannon and Jack Cichy – who suffered a broken arm on punt protection this past Sunday – for their Divisional Round match-up against the Saints. Minter started in Week 17 and in the Bucs’ Wild-Card Round match-up against the Washington Football team, while second-year linebacker Devin White spent time on the reserve/COVID-19 list himself, and will now return as much-needed depth following Cichy’s injury.
