Scott Reynolds is in his 30th year of covering the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the vice president, publisher and senior Bucs beat writer for PewterReport.com. Latest Bucs Headlines
The Bucs signed offensive tackle Jake Benzinger (6-7, 295) on Tuesday. Benzinger originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Arizona Cardinals in 2020 prior to being waived on August 3, 2020. He later signed a futures contract with Indianapolis in January of 2021 before he was waived on August 10.
A Williamston, Massachusetts, native, Benzinger played college football at Wake Forest where he was named honorable mention All-ACC as a redshirt senior (2019).
To make room for Benzinger on the training camp roster the Bucs put guard Sadarius Hutcherson on injured reserve.
