The Bucs announced on Monday that they have signed offensive tackle Jonathan Hubbard this afternoon. This adds depth to an offensive line that has dealt with a number of injuries throughout training camp.
Hubbard originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern State with the Miami Dolphins in 2020. He was on their practice squad for the entirety of the year, and played in Miami’s first preseason game of the 2021 season before being waived on August 17.
The addition of Hubbard makes him the fourth offensive lineman that the Bucs have signed since the start of training camp. That list includes Hubbard, Earl Watford, Brandon Walton and Jake Benzinger.
