Bucs QB Tom Brady may be retired, but the awards are still coming. On Thursday night, Brady was named the NFL FedEx Air Player of the Year. Incredibly, the star quarterback has never achieved the award until this year, his 22nd season.

In 2021, Brady led the NFL with 5,316 yards and 43 touchdowns. Brady had won FedEx Player of the Week three times during the season, in Weeks 1, 2 and 18. So the recognition was hardly a surprise. The future Hall of Famer also garnered Pro Bowl and All-Pro nods this season.
After breaking almost every NFL record and Bucs single-season record, Brady has truly retired on top. It would have been fun to see him put even more distance from the field in 2022. But the greatest quarterback of all time has decided to hang it up instead – for now, anyway.
