Following Saturday’s Bucs training camp, Todd Bowles provided an update for some key players that have been injured.

More recently, Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans left Friday’s practice early with a hamstring injury. Bowles told us how Evans was feeling a day later.

“He’s sore,” Bowles said. “He’s day-to-day so he’ll be fine. It’s just a matter of when we put him out here.”

When asked whether Evans could be out for a couple of days, Bowles stated again that he’s day-to-day and didn’t further elaborate.

For what it’s worth, Evans was seen after practice signing autographs and taking photos with every fan that was around. He looked to be in good spirits and it doesn’t seem as if the hamstring will beleaguer him too much.

Center Ryan Jensen’s knee injury is way more serious and is expected to miss a lot of time, if not the whole season. According to Bowles, the team is waiting on Jensen to get more opinions from medical professionals before he and the organization come to a conclusion.

“It’s just a matter of him getting back to us, really,” Bowles said. “I’m sure he’s got to get other opinions, but we’re waiting on that so we can make a final decision.”
