After a 19-3 win over the Cowboys in Week 1 and a 20-10 victory over the Saints in Week 2, the Bucs are off to a 2-0 start for the first time since, well, last year.
On Sunday, Tampa Bay returns home to play in front of the home fans at Raymond James Stadium for the first time this season. Ray-Jay was kind to the Bucs in 2021, as they lost just one game at home in the regular season. They’ll look to continue their home dominance in Week 3 as the Packers roll into town.
Green Bay is a team that Tampa Bay has performed well against in recent history. Back in 2020, the Bucs beat the Packers 38-10 at home in the regular season before winning the rematch, 31-26, in the NFC Championship Game. That second win booked Tom Brady and Co. a trip to play the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Coincidentally enough, the Packers and Chiefs show up back-to-back on the schedule this year.

As the Bucs look for their first 3-0 start since 2005, there are some who have a chance to continue their quest for franchise and NFL history. Last week, Shaq Barrett racked up two sacks to pass David Logan for fifth-most in team history. He also forced a fumble, giving him sole possession of seventh-most in franchise history. Mike Evans got closer to the franchise’s all-time scrimmage yards record, but his one-game suspension will delay his chance to break it. He’ll have a shot to do so at home in Week 4 against the Chiefs.
Who else can make moves in Sunday’s game? Let’s get into it.
Tom Brady
Brady is one fourth-quarter comeback away from tying Peyton Manning (43) for the most in NFL history. Meanwhile, he needs just 25 pass attempts against the Packers to pass Steve DeBerg (1,414) for seventh-most in Bucs history.

Leonard Fournette
This week, Fournette promised his fantasy football owners that touchdowns are on the way soon. With one rushing touchdown against the Packers, he ties Peyton Barber, Earnest Graham and Lars Tate (15) for 10th-most in franchise history. With two more, he ties Ricky Bell (16) for ninth-most all time.
Four more rushing touchdowns will tie Fournette with former backfield mate Ronald Jones II (18) for eighth-most.
Cameron Brate
Brate needs one more touchdown of any kind to tie Jimmie Giles (34) for fourth-most total touchdowns in team history. One more receiving touchdown will also tie him with Giles (34) for second-most receiving scores in Bucs history.
Lavonte David
Sunday will be David’s 152nd career game, leaving him six behind Mike Alstott (158) for seventh-most in franchise history. It will also be his 152nd career start, which will leave him 31 away from tying Paul Gruber (183) for third-most of any Bucs player.
David needs one more defensive touchdown to tie David Logan and Mike Washington (four) for third-most in Tampa Bay’s history.

Will Gholston
Sunday will be Gholston’s 139th game as a Buc, which will leave him one behind Warren Sapp (140) for 10th-most in franchise history.
Shaq Barrett
After making some history with his two sacks and a forced fumble against the Saints in Week 2, Barrett has another milestone ahead this week. If he can force a fumble against Green Bay, he’ll tie Hardy Nickerson (13) for sixth-most in team history.
Todd Bowles
Last week, Bowles became just the second head coach in franchise history to start his tenure 2-0. He joined Sam Wyche, who began his Bucs career 2-0 in 1992. But with a win on Sunday, Bowles will stand alone as the first head coach in team history to begin his tenure with three straight wins.
