Mike Evans’ one game suspension is officially over. Though in order to return him to roster the Bucs needed to make a corresponding roster move. The Pro Bowl receivers return comes at the expense of fellow wideout Kaylon Geiger, who will be waived.
We've waived WR Kaylon Geiger as WR Mike Evans' suspension ends. We've also waived TE David Wells from the practice squad.

Geiger signed with the Bucs after the draft as an undrafted free agent and had a strong showing in training camp. He was released by the team during final cut downs, and re-signed to the practice squad after he cleared waivers. With injuries hitting the wide receiver position, Geiger was elevated in Week 2 before signing to the active roster last week. His contributions were mostly on special teams, though the undrafted rookie had five total snaps on offense between the last two contests. He failed to record a reception in either game.
The Bucs also announced they have waived tight end David Wells from the practice squad. If Geiger passes through waivers he will likely be brought back to fill the teams vacant spot on the team’s practice squad.
