To close out the 2022 regular season, the Bucs just announced their inactive list against the Falcons. The list primarily features key starters as they look to rest those who are not quite at 100%.
As expected, cornerback Carlton Davis III, nose tackle Vita Vea, left tackle Donovan Smith, and outside linebacker Carl Nassib will not be playing. Fellow cornerback Jamel Dean will be playing, and Sean Murphy-Bunting will be the other boundary corner.

Tackle Brandon Walton takes the place of Smith, and he will get meaningful game reps.
Wide receiver Julio Jones, a longtime star for the Falcons, will not be making a homecoming as he was also listed. Safeties Logan Ryan and Mike Edwards wrap up the inactive list, leaving the Bucs short on the backend. Both Antoine Winfield Jr. and Keanu Neal will be the starting safeties.
Of note, quarterback Kyle Trask was not listed for the first time this season, a key indicator that the 2021 second-round pick will play at some point on Sunday. The question will be if he is ready for playing time, as this will be his first measurement in a live NFL game. If he wants to be in the 2023 quarterback picture, he must be able to move the chains.
