Pewter Report’s partnership with WFLA News Channel 8 – the official station of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – continues for another year. Pewter Report publisher Scott Reynolds, a senior Bucs beat writer entering his 28th year covering the team, joined WFLA’s Dan Lucas and Karen Loftus to preview training camp on Super Sports Sunday.
With just a few days before the Bucs’ 2023 training camp kicks off, Reynolds, Lucas and Loftus spent two segments on the show breaking down Tampa Bay’s top storylines on offense and defense. Super Sports Sunday airs each Sunday night at 11:35 p.m. ET after the nightly Sunday news on News Channel 8, which is Tampa Bay’s NBC affiliate.
Once the regular season begins, the Sunday night show is rebranded as Bucs Bonus and continues to air at 11:35 p.m. ET after the nightly Sunday news.
Bucs’ Top Storylines Discussed
Pewter Report’s Scott Reynolds and WFLA sports anchors Dan Lucas and Karen Loftus covered a lot of ground on Sunday night.
Topics include insight into Dave Canales’ new offense, the quarterback battle between Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask, Devin White’s status, Jamel Dean’s new contract, what Calijah Kancey and the new-look Bucs defensive front is expected to bring to Tampa Bay this year, as well as the return of Shaq Barrett.
