It’s the last game of the regular season for the Bucs and the most crucial one yet. The outcome is simple. Win and the Bucs clinch the NFC South division and host a home playoff game next week. Lose and their season is done with the possibility of many changes coming in the offseason.

For a game of this magnitude, even against the two-win Panthers, the Bucs are going to need everybody on deck and ready to go. The big question has been about Baker Mayfield and his ribs injury. Mayfield practiced again on Friday and it looked like he was throwing the ball harder than he had the day before.
Is Baker Mayfield And Other Bucs Good To Go?
After practice Todd Bowles spoke with the media outside and was quickly asked about the status of the Bucs’ starting quarterback.
“He’s a full go,” Bowles said. “He’ll be ready to go on Sunday. Expect him to be (the) same as he always was.”
Bowles also responded to a question about if Baker Mayfield will be wearing protective gear around his ribs for the game, which he replied “I’m sure he’ll be protected. I don’t know how much.”

The only other players that there was any wonder about if they’d be available is cornerback Carlton Davis (concussion) and tight end Ko Kieft (shoulder). Bowles confirmed that each players is also good to go for the game on Sunday and Davis should clear concussion protocol today.
Outside linebacker Shaq Barrett said on Thursday that he was going to play this weekend, so there wasn’t any concern about his availability.
The Bucs have a healthy roster going into their last game in the regular season, including their quarterback. Through all the roller coaster moments, Tampa Bay has a chance to win their division for the third season in a row. This one would be very meaningful considering the overhaul on the offensive side and the outside media expecting very little results.
Sunday’s game has everything on the line for a group that time and again has stuck together through everything.
