The celebration of the Bucs’ 50th season has already begun, with the team rolling out plenty of content throughout the summer, including its best moments bracket and the ongoing countdown of the top 50 players in franchise history, which began Tuesday night.

And soon, the Buccaneers will be hosting a special premiere event for a 50th season documentary produced by eight-time Emmy award winner Trent Cooper. This one-night event is available to team partners, luxury suite members, premium members and Krewe Members with tenure of 50+ years. Tickets are very limited and are expected to sell out. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for those select members, with the RSVP deadline set for Friday, Aug. 22.

The documentary, titled “Raise the Flags,” will be released in 10 parts. However, this premiere event at the iconic Tampa Theatre on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 7:00 p.m., will feature excerpts from the documentary as well as live reactions from a host of franchise legends.

Special guests who will be featured on stage for the night include Super Bowl LV MVP Tom Brady, Tampa Bay’s all-time leading receiver and longtime captain Mike Evans, Super Bowl XXXVII-winning head coach Jon Gruden, Bucs Ring of Honor member Jimmie Giles, Super Bowl LV-winning guard Ali Marpet and general manager Jason Licht, who built that Super Bowl LV team and has led the way for the Bucs since 2014.

The event is a chance for fans to “be the first to witness never-before-seen footage and hear firsthand accounts from the legends who shaped the Bucs’ story,” according to the invitation sent by the team.

Of course, the full 10-part “Raise the Flags” documentary will be released later this fall. Expect more details from the team imminently.

Pewter Report’s Scott Reynolds Featured In Bucs’ “Raise The Flags”

As sports documentary director Trent Cooper filmed and worked on the upcoming 10-part “Raise the Flags” documentary, he of course conducted interviews with legends who helped write the team’s story both figuratively and literally. Expect appearances throughout the documentary from plenty of fan favorite Buccaneers from over the years, but also expect to see longtime members of the Tampa Bay media as they tell the story of the Bucs through their eyes.

Among that group is Pewter Report vice president and publisher Scott Reynolds, who was interviewed at length for the documentary. As the Bucs embark on their 50th season as an NFL franchise in 2025, Reynolds is beginning his 30th year of covering the team, having started with Pewter Report (Buccaneer Magazine back then) in 1995.

“I was honored to be a part of this documentary and that my perspective on my 30 years of covering the Buccaneers was included,” Reynolds said. “I can’t wait to see Trent’s final work and how he and so many members of the Bucs organization, and those like myself who covered the team, honor and chronicle 50 years of Buccaneers football.”
