Two of the Bucs' biggest offensive pieces continue to progress towards making their season debuts today. All-Pro left tackle Tristan Wirfs, who has been working back from knee surgery late in the summer moved up from a limited participant in Wednesday's practices to a full participant on Thursday. Head coach Todd Bowles had mentioned on Wednesday that part of him being able to play on Sunday against the Eagles was ramping up his workload throughout the week and this improvement is a big step forward towards that goal.
"He did some things today, as well. We've got to ramp him up a little more, and I think both of them will be end-of-the-week evaluations."
The "both of them" refers to Wirfs and receiver Chris Godwin Jr., who is also hoping to play this week was a full participant on Wednesday but did not practice on Thursday. While that may not sound like a positive development it is part of the team's plan for him. They wanted to give his ankle a rest after his most extensive teamwork since suffering his injury in October of last year and they wanted to see how it responded to that increased workload. The team overall is encouraged by how he's looked on the practice field with head coach Todd Bowles saying yesterday, "He did a lot more things this week and practiced a lot better. It's just going to be a matter of him healing up and seeing what he can do in the ball game if he plays. He had a good day today."

Defensive lineman Logan Hall, who is said to have a minor groin injury did not practice today for the second day in a row. While reports say the team is hopeful he can play on Sunday, Friday will be an important step in that direction. The other non-participant was defensive back Christian Izien who missed Wednesday as well.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield was once again limited due to a biceps injury but there is no real discussion about him missing Sunday's game between the two unbeaten clubs. Pewter Report was on hand to view practice today.

Eagles Getting Healthier
On the other side of the matchup, three starters for the Eagles returned to the field for the first time on Thursday as linebackers Jihaad Campbell and Zack Baun and cornerback Adoree' Jackson all practiced on a limited basis. Right tackle Lane Johnson who left last week's game with a stinger also moved from a limited participant yesterday to a full participant today. That lends itself to the Eagles having two of their best and most important position groups – the offensive line and linebacking corps – fully intact for the game.
Here is the full injury report for Thursday for both the Bucs and Eagles.
