With their 29-27 win over the Jets last Sunday, the Bucs got out to a 3-0 start for the first time since the 2005 season. Now, this Sunday, they'll look for their first 4-0 start since that same 2005 campaign when the 3-0 Eagles come to Raymond James Stadium for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.

Tampa Bay is still pretty banged-up, with Mike Evans now joining the likes of Luke Goedeke, Cody Mauch and Calijah Kancey in missing this Sunday's game. Baker Mayfield is dealing with a biceps injury, too, but it would be a surprise if he's unable to play through it against Philadelphia. On a more positive note, too, the Bucs could be getting All-Pro left tackle Tristan Wirfs and four-time 1,000-yard receiver Chris Godwin Jr. back this week.

If the Bucs can overcome their injury crisis and improve to 5-1 against the Eagles since 2021 and get to 4-0 this year, it would be a huge statement for a team looking to shake up the top level of the NFC hierarchy in 2025. Tampa Bay has won four straight NFC South titles, but the goals are higher this season and a 4-0 September with the fourth win coming against the defending Super Bowl champions would be an outstanding start.

As usual, there will be other storylines to follow this battle of 3-0 teams at Ray Jay, and that's the reason we're here right now. As we do every week here on PewterReport.com, it's now time to take a look at what else is on the line during this week's game. Of course, we're talking about some of the records and milestones that some key Bucs are moving toward.

Last week, Mike Evans passed Rod Smith for the 34th-most receptions in NFL history, the Bucs made NFL history by rushing for 100 yards and allowing fewer than 100 rushing yards for an 11th straight game and the team became the first in the Super Bowl era to record game-winning scores in the final minute of each of their first three games in a season.

Now, let's see where things stand heading into Week 4.

Bucs Record Watch: Week 4 vs. Eagles

Baker Mayfield

With a 300-yard passing game, Mayfield would tie Doug Williams (10) for the fourth-most 300-yard passing games in franchise history.

Mayfield is also 280 passing yards away from passing Steve DeBerg (9,439) for the eighth-most in Bucs history.

With two passing touchdowns, Mayfield can tie Vinny Testaverde (77) for the fourth-most in team history. Of course, three would give him sole possession of fourth on Tampa Bay's all-time leaderboard. And with five passing touchdowns, Mayfield can tie Josh Freeman (80) for third.

Rachaad White

White needs one more touchdown to pass Leonard Fournette and Reggie Cobb (22) for the seventh-most touchdowns from scrimmage by a running back in team history. Two more will tie him with Cadillac Williams (24) for sixth-most.

White is also two receiving touchdowns away from tying Mike Alstott (13) for the most receiving touchdowns by a running back/fullback in franchise history.

Emeka Egbuka

If Egbuka can catch his fourth touchdown of the season on Sunday, he'll set a new Bucs record for the most through four career games, officially passing Mike Williams (3).

Egbuka can also set a new Bucs record for the most receiving yards through four career games if he gets to 60 yards in Sunday's game. That would break the previous mark of 240, which was set by Michael Clayton.

With six receptions against the Eagles, Egbuka would set a new team record for the most through four career games, passing Clayton and Williams (19).

And finally, with six catches and 69 yards, Egbuka would join Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (2024) as the only players in the past decade with 20+ receptions, 250+ receiving yards and 3+ receiving touchdowns through four career games.

Chris Godwin Jr.

If Godwin can suit up for his season debut Sunday afternoon, he'll have a chance to work his way toward some more Bucs history. He enters 2025 six touchdowns away from passing James Wilder (46) for the third-most total touchdowns in franchise history.

Godwin is also just 33 scrimmage yards away from passing Mike Alstott (7,372) for the fourth-most in team history.

And if he's able to go on Sunday, Godwin will be playing his 112th game with Tampa Bay, which would tie him with Donald Penn for the 29th-most in Buccaneer history.

Vita Vea

Vea is three sacks away from passing Brad Culpepper and Jason Pierre-Paul (33.0) for the ninth-most in team history.

Sunday will be Vea's 99th game, leaving him one away from tying six others for the 42nd-most in franchise history.

Lavonte David

Sunday marks David's 202nd game with Tampa Bay, leaving him 22 behind Derrick Brooks (224) for the second-most in franchise history. It'll also be his 202nd start, which will leave him 19 away from tying Brooks (221) for the second-most in team history.

David picked up another sack last week, bringing his total for the season to 1.5. He now needs five more to pass Shaq Barrett (45.0) for the fifth-most in Buccaneer history.

David also needs three more passes defensed to pass Carlton Davis III (73) for the fourth-most in franchise history.

Jamel Dean

Dean needs nine more passes defensed to pass Donnie Abraham (64) for the sixth-most in team history.

Zyon McCollum

With two more passes defensed, McCollum will pass Jordan Whitehead and E.J. Biggers (28) for the 15th-most in Bucs history.

Antoine Winfield Jr.

After his sack-fumble on Tyrod Taylor in Week 3, Winfield now needs one more sack to break a tie with Adam Archuleta, Bill Bates, Roman Harper and Derwin James (active – 18) for 11th-most by a defensive back since 1982. He also needs just two more strip sacks to tie Quintin Mikell for the most by a defensive back since at least 2000.

Winfield is also one forced fumble away from tying Jairus Byrd, Cedric Griffin, Chris Harris, Sammy Knight, Michael Lewis, Troy Polamalu and his father, Antoine Winfield Sr. (13), for the 16th-most by a defensive back since at least 2000.

Winfield's next forced fumble will also tie Hardy Nickerson (13) for the seventh-most in Bucs history. He is two fumble recoveries away from passing Lee Roy Selmon (10) for the fourth-most in team history and tying Cecil Johnson and John Cannon (11) for the third-most.

With three more passes defensed, Winfield will pass Dwight Smith (34) for the 12th-most in franchise history.

And with 10.5 more sacks, Winfield will pass Ronde Barber (28.0) for the most by a defensive back in Buccaneer history.

Chase McLaughlin

After hitting five field goals last week against the Jets, McLaughlin now needs 20 more to pass Ryan Succop (84) for the sixth-most in team history.

Todd Bowles

With a Bucs win over the Eagles on Sunday afternoon, Bowles will tie Bruce Arians (31) for the fourth-most wins by a head coach in franchise history.
