This victory is owed to Tampa Bay’s defense leading the way, with outside linebacker Anthony Nelson having a career game. What occurred had Slivon paraphrasing Big Sean and quoting Nelly lyrics, so you know he is hyped to talk about it.
More than just Nelson, Slivon also discusses other notable defensive performances and the ways head coach Todd Bowles shut down two quarterbacks with his unit coming away with five sacks and four turnovers. Offensively, not a lot went right, with quarterback Baker Mayfield and left tackle Tristan Wirfs not looking like themselves. Still, running back Sean Tucker scored, and kicker Chase McLaughlin came through when they needed him the most.
