Adam Slivon offers his Top 10 Takeaways after the Bucs once again suffered a tough loss, falling 34-7 to the Rams on Sunday night. Tampa Bay did not have a chance to make it a game, getting dominated on both sides of the football. Slivon details the latest lackluster defensive performance, calling out head coach Todd Bowles as well as cornerback Zyon McCollum. Changes need to be made, both schematically and with the personnel Bowles has to work with.
In recent weeks, the offense has been positive, but not this time. Instead, Slivon went over the unfortunate development of quarterback Baker Mayfield leaving the game with a left shoulder injury. Even Mayfield could not steer the ship, as offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard has failed to innovate as of late. This all puts the Bucs in a bind as they gear up to return home against the Cardinals in Week 13. At 6-5, the midseason slide is real.
