It appears it’ll be all’s that ends well for the Bucs and starting quarterback Baker Mayfield. Friday’s practice saw Baker Mayfield be a full participant in the session. He’s elevated his status each day going from did not participate on Wednesday, to limited participation on Thursday and then a full go today. It looks like he’s going to play on Sunday.

“He looked good today,” head coach Todd Bowles said. “So he’s trending to play.”

Bowles then went on about what he needed to see from Mayfield in order to give him the okay to play.

“He had to get well,” Bowles said. “He was very limited on Wednesday, he did a little more yesterday [and] he moved around perfectly today. He moved around, so he was fine.”

The Bucs will have plenty of reinforcements going into this game. Only corner Benjamin Morrison and safety Rashad Wisdom are out. Starting left guard Ben Bredeson is questionable and has a chance suit up. That means Bucky Irving, Haason Reddick and Jamel Dean are good to go. They are all much needed as Tampa Bay tries to erase a three game losing streak.

Irving has been out since September while Reddick last played in the Bucs’ Monday night loss a couple of weeks ago. Dean was injured on the first drive against the Bills two weeks ago and didn’t play against the Rams on Sunday night football. Dean’s been here most of the season while Irving and Reddick have been absent. It gives the Bucs a new outlook down the homestretch of the season.

“I think it’s a reset for them to come back,” Bowles said of Irving and Reddick. “Everybody else has kind of been playing the whole time. To get them acclimated and still do what we need to get done is going to be important for us.”

Here is the full injury report with status designations for the Bucs and Cardinals before Tampa Bay’s Sunday afternoon home game.
