The Bucs will have some key contributors back on the offensive side of the ball when they take the field Thursday night for their primetime creamsicle matchup against the Falcons at Raymond James Stadium.
After they were activated from injured reserve Wednesday afternoon, wide receivers Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan are officially active for Week 15 in Tampa. Evans will be suiting up for the first time since he broke his collarbone in a Week 7 loss to Detroit, while McMillan is making his regular season debut after suffering a serious neck injury in the preseason.
The other big piece of positive injury news for the Bucs is that some of their key injured players didn’t even carry injury designations on the final injury report of the week. Left tackle Tristan Wirfs (oblique) will return to the lineup after missing Tampa Bay’s Week 14 loss to New Orleans, while Haason Reddick (ankle) is good to go after limping off the field in the second half of that game.

Considering this is still the 2025 season, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the good injury news for Tampa Bay still came with some bad. The offense will officially be without Cade Otton (knee) on Thursday night, and the defense will be missing Tykee Smith (neck/shoulder) after both players were listed as doubtful on the final injury report. SirVocea Dennis (hip) is also missing from the Bucs’ starting defense.
Otton had a two-touchdown performance in last year’s creamsicle game against the Falcons, and with Ko Kieft on injured reserve as well, Tampa Bay comes into this game with only two healthy tight ends in Payne Durham and Devin Culp.
Not to mention, left guard Ben Bredeson (knee) was also placed on injured reserve this week.

Falcons Also Missing A Key Starter In Week 15 vs. Bucs
The 4-9 Falcons, who were officially eliminated from playoff contention with last week’s loss to the Seahawks, come into Thursday night’s game a bit healthier than the Bucs. However, the Atlanta offense will be without No. 1 wide receiver Drake London, who remains sidelined with a knee injury.

London has had some big games in the past against Tampa Bay, with a 172-yard performance against Todd Bowles’ defense in 2023 and a 154-yard day in 2024. Without London, Atlanta is thin at the wide receiver position. Kirk Cousins will now have Darnell Mooney, former Buc Deven Thompkins, KhaDarel Hodge, David Sills V and Dylan Drummond making up his receiving corps Thursday night.
The good news for the Falcons, though, is that Kyle Pitts Sr. (knee) is good to go after being a limited participant in practice this week and coming into Thursday with a “questionable” tag. Pitts had a big day against the Bucs when these two teams met in Tampa last season, catching four passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns. And back when these two teams met in the 2025 opener, he caught seven of his eight targets for 59 yards.
Defensive linemen Brandon Dorlus and David Onyemata are both active for Atlanta as well after also coming in with injury designations.
