These short videos on the Bucs – typically five to seven minutes in length – offer up Slivon’s unique takes on the most recent Tampa Bay game or current events in the Bucs’ offseason with his expert insight and opinions.
Adam Slivon offers his Top 10 Takeaways after reflecting on the Bucs’ 29-28 loss to the Falcons on Thursday night. Slivon provides his longest video in this series yet, sharing his response to a team he describes as lifeless, stale, and lacking a killer instinct. That starts and ends with head coach Todd Bowles, who he quoted in the video.
Bowles’ future is in doubt, and it is a future that might not even include him. It would take a reversal of fortunes, one that includes making the playoffs, for the defensive playcaller to save his job. Many of the concerns remain on that side of the football, especially after allowing quarterback Kirk Cousins to throw for 373 yards and three touchdowns. He liked that. Tight end Kyle Pitts had a career day, and running back Bijan Robinson could not be stopped.

Slivon does share some positives about the offense, most notably by a “badass” Mike Evans. Evans led the way, but his efforts were for nothing as he understandably left the field beyond frustrated. Does all of this mark the end of Bowles’ tenure? To end the video, Slivon goes over why it is time to consider a move while also considering the factors at play. Regardless, the final three games will not only define the Bucs season, but the future as well.
