The Bucs have spent many hours deliberating on some important decisions about roster cuts for their teams in order to get their roster down to 53 players. The team announced their initial 53-man roster on Sunday night, but Tampa Bay isn’t done adding to their roster just yet.

Up next for the organization is filling out a 16-player practice squad that will also practice with the team each week. They can get that number up to 17 if they keep offensive tackle Paul Rubelt as an international roster exemption. There were some close calls with roster cuts like player such as safety Rashad Wisdom and outside linebacker  Jack Pyburn.
