From the Bucs Communication Department:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced on Wednesday that the team has been awarded defensive tackle Sealver Siliga (pronounced: silver suh-LING-uh) off of waivers from the Seattle Seahawks.

Siliga (6-2, 345) originally entered the league as a college free agent out of Utah with the San Francisco 49ers in 2011. In his NFL career, he has also played for the Denver Broncos, the Seattle Seahawks, and the New England Patriots. The West Jordan, Utah native has played in 30 career games, with 13 starts, totaling 89 tackles, eight for loss, 5.5 sacks and one forced fumble. This season, Siliga has played in four games for Seattle, registering five tackles.

The team also announced that DE Channing Ward has been waived. Ward has played in five games for Tampa Bay this season, with one start, recording five tackles.
