While Tampa Bay fans are anxiously awaiting the debut of the team’s new uniforms in April, head coach Bruce Arians said he has seen a sketch of what the Bucs will be wearing in the fall of 2020. Arians briefly discussed the new uniforms on a recent appearance on Pro Football Talk TV at the NFL Scouting Combine.
“You know what? They didn’t even ask me about the new uniforms,” Arians said, appearing with Pro Football Talk hosts Mike Florio and Chris Simms. “I was pissed. They did it on their own.”
Florio said he wasn’t a fan of the current uniforms which debuted in 2014 and is waiting to see what the Glazers and Nike had put together for the Bucs.

“I’m anxious to see it too,” Arians said. “I think it’s more closer to the Super Bowl uniforms.”
So there you have it. While the Bucs have teased the color orange in some of their social media promotions, including a video the team produced, the team wore red and pewter in the Super Bowl, and from 1997-2013.
Many Bucs fans have objected to the team’s uniform change in 2014, citing that they don’t like the alarm clock font used for the players’ numbers. The alarm clock font, PewterReport.com has been told, is gone.
