Bucs coach Bruce Arians is a pretty transparent head coach, at least by NFL standards. About a week ago, rumors floated that Odell Beckham Jr. could be interested in playing with the Bucs and Tom Brady. But Arians was quick to shut down speculation on Wednesday. When asked about the Bucs potential interest in Beckham, Arians laughed at the idea.
“No, no,” Arians said, chuckling. “Too many letters. I’ve already got AB [Antonio Brown]. I don’t need OBJ [Odell Beckham Jr.].”
The questions are valid ones, considering Beckham is looking to sign with a contender. Initial reports that there could be mutual interest came from ESPN’s Jeff Darlington, a reliable source on all things Brady in recent years.

Also, the Bucs wide receiver room is currently decimated with injuries. Antonio Brown has missed three games this season and will likely miss a few more with a sprained ankle. Scotty Miller has been on injured reserve with turf toe since Week 3. Before the season began, Justin Watson was placed on IR as well. And now Chris Godwin is dealing with a foot injury that could sideline him this week.
But the Bucs opted to sign Breshad Perriman yesterday, returning the 2019 standout to the team. Perriman had his most productive season in the NFL under Arians in 2019, but has fallen on hard times since. The former first round pick disappointed with the Jets, couldn’t make the Lions roster and didn’t see any action with the Bears.
Based on most reports, Beckham seems to have narrowed down his list of suitors. The Saints, Packers, Chiefs or Seahawks look like Beckham’s most likely landing spots.
