Former Bucs quarterback Tom Brady announced that he will be talking about his decision to retire after 22 years in the NFL on the final episode of his “Man In The Arena” documentary series. Brady made the announcement on Twitter and his other social media accounts on Friday night.

“Now we can talk about it. Final episode coming in April.” is what Brady wrote in his Twitter post.

The “Man In The Arena” documentary series has nine episodes and is featured exclusively on the ESPN+ app. The first episode debuted on November 16, 2021.

The first nine episodes of the “Man In The Arena” documentaries are about Brady’s career in New England. Most of them center around the Super Bowls he played in during his time with the Patriots. The 10th and final episode will talk about his transition to Tampa Bay where he quarterbacked the Bucs to a Super Bowl LV championship.

Brady won his seventh Super Bowl and garnered Super Bowl MVP for the fifth time. He played two seasons in Tampa Bay, setting franchise records for passing yards in a season (5,316) and passing touchdowns (43) in 2021. Brady also became the NFL’s all-time leading passer in 2021 with 84,520 yards, surpassing Drew Brees.

The one-minute teaser clip features his father, Thomas Brady, Sr., tearing up while talking about Brady’s retirement. The final episode will debut sometime in April.
