Mike Evans suffered an apparent knee injury in the Bucs’ Week 17 match-up against the Atlanta Falcons.

On the very next play after eclipsing 1,000 receiving yards for the seventh consecutive season to start a career, breaking an NFL record previously held by Randy Moss, wide receiver Mike Evans was targeted in the end zone and looked to hyperextend his knee. Evans would need assistance leaving the field and made his way off with a visible limp before being carted to the locker room for treatment.

The extent of Evans’ injury is unknown at the moment but PewterReport will update the story as more information is made available.
