Brief Stint For Beasley On The Bucs

Beasley signed with the Bucs to their practice squad during Week 3 on September 23. He was called up to the active roster for each home game during the two weeks he was here. In two games, the veteran wide receiver made four receptions for 17 yards in a limited amount of playing time. He played just nine snaps in Sunday night’s game against the Chiefs.
In his career, Beasley played in 151 games, recording 554 catches for 5,726 yards and 34 touchdowns. He spent seven seasons with the Cowboys, three years with the Bills and a brief two-week stint with the Bucs.
What Remains At WR For Bucs
With Beasley out of the picture that still leaves the Bucs with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Russell Gage, Julio Jones, Jaelon Darden, Breshad Perriman and Scotty Miller on the active roster. They also have Kaylon Geiger and Deven Thompkins on the practice squad.
Geiger has been called up twice and played special teams in games against the Saints and Packers. Thompkins has yet to be elevated to the active roster. Since Beasley was elevated twice already, this could mean one of these players gets called up instead. There’s also a possibility that Miller, who has been a game day inactive for two games already, could be active for this Sunday.
