Tampa Bay’s 2019 regular season schedule has been released and new head coach Bruce Arians and the Bucs start the season at home against former linebacker Kwon Alexander and the San Francisco 49ers on September 8 before traveling to Carolina for a prime time game on Thursday Night Football against the Panthers, one of their NFC South division rivals. This is the first time since 2015 that the Bucs have started the season at home, which was the second-longest drought when it came to home openers.

Tampa Bay will hit the road for a home game in London against the Panthers a few weeks later on October 13 with a 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff, followed by the team’s bye week in Week 7. The Bucs don’t have a home game in Tampa Bay for six weeks – nearly two months – from their Week 3 game against the Giants until their Week 10 game against the Cardinals.

Five of Tampa Bay’s last eight games are at home, including the last two contests against Houston and Atlanta. The game against Houston will either take place on Saturday, December 21 or Sunday, December 22 and won’t be decided until after Week 8.
