It seems like every day the Bucs are losing a player to injury, so it was nice to get someone back on Monday. Linebacker Kevin Minter, added to the COVID list a week ago, was activated to the roster again. Minter will resume his duties as the team’s No. 3 linebacker and special teams captain in Week 4.
We've activated ILB Kevin Minter from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Minter has yet to play a defensive snap in 2021, but has two special teams tackles in as many games. Rookie K.J. Britt was the team’s third linebacker in Week 3, although he was not needed defensively. Minter played just 92 snaps on defense for the Bucs last season.
Joining Minter on the COVID list last week were Travis Jonsen and Antonio Brown. Jonsen was added to the list last Monday, while Brown didn’t land on it until Wednesday. Neither receiver has been activated yet. Arians said that the team was “still waiting” to see if Brown will be cleared by Wednesday’s practice. The Bucs will need the receiver back soon, as Scotty Miller appears to be headed for injured reserve.
The Bucs travel to New England to take on the Patriots on Sunday Night Football in Week 4. Tampa Bay will be looking to start 3-1 for the second straight season.
