The Bucs traveled to Titletown for their Sunday afternoon matchup against the Packers at Lambeau Field. It was a game that featured plenty of big plays from both teams, but ultimately, the Bucs prevailed and won 34-20. Here is who stood out as the most impressive from the Bucs in their Week 15 win.

WR Chris Godwin

Chris Godwin looked more like his Pro Bowl-level self on Sunday afternoon. Godwin had a big first half for the Bucs with seven catches on eight targets for 108 yards. Much of his damage was done on three big receptions of 25, 25, and 24 yards. It was encouraging to see Godwin’s heavy involvement on offense and it leading to the team being successful in moving the ball.

On the day, he had by far his best game of the year, finishing with 10 catches for 155 yards.

After both Godwin and Tampa Bay’s coaching staff have had to answer for his relative lack of production this season, this was a step in proving that he can still be the No. 2 wide receiver within the Bucs’ offense.

QB Baker Mayfield

The passing game was clicking throughout, and Baker Mayfield was the main reason why. Take out the first-quarter sack-fumble by Packers linebacker Kingsley Enagbare and Mayfield was absolutely dealing. He played arguably his most complete game as a Buccaneer. In the first half alone, he was 12-of-14 for 187 yards and a touchdown.

He had 381 passing yards on the day, his highest single-game total in Tampa Bay. He paired that with four touchdown passes and a perfect 158.3 passer rating. His performance came at a crucial time. with all games from this point on affecting Tampa Bay’s playoff chances. After consecutive games completing less than 50% of his passes, Mayfield was 22-of-28 against the Packers — a 78.6% completion percentage. It was an all-around solid showing from the Bucs’ quarterback.

WR Mike Evans

Old reliable came through again in the second quarter. Down 7-3, Baker Mayfield found Mike Evans for a 19-yard touchdown to capitalize on a drive where Tampa Bay moved the ball well. For Evans, it was his 11th touchdown of the season and another big play made by the veteran wide receiver.

On the day, Evans had four catches for 57 yards and the touchdown grab. Both Evans and Chris Godwin were able to create separation, allowing for Baker Mayfield to have plenty of success.

RB Rachaad White

The emerging dual-threat back Rachaad White had another big play as a receiving back in the third quarter. Baker Mayfield found White cutting up the middle for a 26-yard touchdown. Overall, the second-year back had 139 scrimmage yards (89 rushing, 50 receiving). He continues to be a big part of the Bucs’ offensive attack.

OC Dave Canales

Many of the Bucs’ offensive weapons played to their full capabilities, and that is a credit to offensive coordinator Dave Canales. Canales had one of his better games as a play-caller and was able to unlock Chris Godwin while also calling plays that allowed Baker Mayfield to control the game and find the open man in the passing game. Whether it was Godwin, Mike Evans, Rachaad White, Cade Otton, David Moore, or Ko Kieft, Canales often called the right play at the right time to get the offense moving.

ILB Lavonte David

Lavonte David held it down for the Bucs’ defense up the middle, making a handful of big plays in this game, with one of the biggest coming in the first quarter. With the Packers driving and in the red zone on their opening drive, David had a big touchdown-saving tackle on Aaron Jones. Green Bay ultimately did not get any points on the drive after Jordan Love could not connect with Jayden Reed, and David’s stop was a big reason why.

David finished the afternoon with nine tackles, which included instances of pressuring Love, making multiple tackles for a loss and being an overall menace all over the field.

Bucs K Chase Mclaughlin

Bucs Specialists

Both Chase McLaughlin and Jake Camarda deserve mentions for their production on special teams. McLaughlin made his field goal attempts of 39 and 46 yards, while Camarda had one of his better punts of the season.

In the second quarter, he booted one 65 yards with enough backspin to stop the ball from going into the end zone. It pinned the Packers back on their own 4-yard line and demonstrated why he is one of the best punters in the NFL.

WR David Moore

David Moore was a little late to the party but still joined in with the longest play of the day from either team. Moore made a handful of Packers’ defenders miss and showed off his speed in getting to the end zone on his 52-yard touchdown catch. Before joining the Bucs, Moore played in one game for Green Bay in 2021. Let’s just say he exacted a little revenge on his former team.
