Latest Bucs Headlines

There was a lot of unknowns leading to plenty of speculation surrounding who would and would not be available to play today for the Bucs. We now have clarification with some last-minute breaking news that adds plenty of intrigue. Here are the gameday inactives for Tampa Bay.

Cornerback Carlton Davis III, safety Ryan Neal and defensive lineman Will Gholston were all ruled out prior to today. Cornerback Josh Hayes was a very late addition to as he came down with an illness today and will be inactive as well. The headline news here, though is Devin White. White was initially listed as questionable and a game-time decision for the team. He is inactive, but it would appear not due to a bad pre-game workout.

White had missed the past two games due to injury. Reserve linebackers K.J. Britt, J.J. Russell and SirVocea Dennis had all had opportunities to play in the last month and all outplayed White. The Bucs it would seem are making a coaching decision to give the young linebackers more opportunities.

Bucs Get Big Man Back

The BIG news is that the team will welcome the return of NT Vita Vea, who missed last week’s division matchup against the Falcons. Vea joins cornerback Jamel Dean and receiver Chris Godwin as players who were listed as questionable who will be playing today.
