Tampa Bay Bucs linebacker Lavonte David was selected as the Bucs nominee for the 2019 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award. The award is in its sixth year and recognizes players in the league that exemplify outstanding sportsmanship on the field.
David has played for the Bucs for seven seasons and has been a captain of the team for six of those years. The two-time All-Pro inside linebacker has been one of the leaders of the Bucs ever since his arrival in Tampa Bay.
