Latest Bucs Headlines

The Bucs are riding a three-game winning streak all the way to Los Angeles this week as the team takes on the (8-5) L.A. Chargers.

It’s been a tough season for Tampa’s overall roster health, with the team at times looking like one of the best in the NFC and at other times looking like its rotating pieces didn’t know where to place themselves on the field.

So, which Bucs should you expect to see this week versus the Chargers?

Bucs Stars Injured?

The identity of this Bucs team has continued to surprise fans throughout the season, and part of that has had to do with injuries to its stars.

Head coach Todd Bowles is known for being a defensive guru, but all season long, his secondary has been shorthanded. This is the second time that the team will be without superstar safety Antoine Winfield Jr., which could be a tough pill to swallow in a week where the team is facing one of the NFL’s premier passers, Justin Herbert.

On top of the defense not playing up to its standard due to some injuries, Tampa offensive coordinator Liam Coen has had to continually reinvent his offense as Bucs players have frequently gotten injured.

What began as a pass-happy offense headlined by Mike Evans and Chris Godwin has turned into a physical attack featuring a three-headed monster of running backs in Bucky Irving, Rachaad White, and Sean Tucker.

Unfortunately, this week, there’s a chance that arguably the team’s most dangerous running back or offensive player in general, Irving, could be unable to suit up against Los Angeles.

With that, here is the Bucs injury report after Thursday:
