Just a day after the Bucs formulated their initial 53-man roster, the team has claimed Packers offensive lineman Royce Newman off the waiver wire.
Newman, a 6-foot-5, 310-pound guard, adds some veteran depth to the team in the wake of Sua Opeta’s season-ending knee injury, which he suffered early in training camp.
