The Bucs received some very good news on Friday when Bucs head coach Todd Bowles said that both free safety Antoine Winfield Jr. and cornerback Jamel Dean will play in the Wild Card playoff game at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday night.
On Sunday morning, prior to kickoff, Pewter Report reported on the Pewter Pregame show at 9:00 a.m. ET on the PewterReportTV YouTube channel that tight end Cade Otton will also be available to play. Otton has missed the last three games of the regular season due to a knee injury, but was a full participant in practice this week and is expected to start against the Commanders.
In fact all five of the players listed as questionable on Friday’s Bucs injury report are expected to play in the Wild Card game on Sunday Night Football, including safety Mike Edwards, who suffered a quadriceps injury in last week’s win over the Saints, and defensive tackle Logan Hall, who has been dealing with a sore groin.

Winfield has been out since the Raiders game with a knee injury of his own, but will be back in the starting lineup as well. Dean has missed the last two games due to a sore knee, but returns to square off against Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin.
The only Buccaneer who won’t be able to go is veteran cornerback Troy Hill, who has played sparingly this season since being signed for depth purposes around midseason. He’s attempting to come back from the injured reserve list due to knee and foot injuries, and although he practiced this week the team did not activate him from I.R.
The Bucs elevated two players prior to kickoff in linebacker Deion Jones and wide receiver Tanner Knue.
For Washington, the Commanders will see the return to action of cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who was acquired from New Orleans in a midseason trade. Lattimore, who has squared off against Mike Evans for years when he was a member of the Saints defense, missed the last two games due to a hamstring injury.
