With rookies set to report to rookie training camp on Tuesday, July 21st, the Bucs will be busy over the coming days signing their newly acquired players that they drafted in late April.
Wide receiver Tyler Johnson, who was the Bucs’ fifth-round pick out of Minnesota, posted a photo on his instagram of him signing papers for his rookie contract.

Johnson earned back-to-back All-Conference accolades as a Junior and Senior with the Golden Gophers while posting 86 receptions for 1,318 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.
Greg Auman of The Athletic also reported that the Bucs have completed a deal with sixth-round pick Khalil Davis. The defensive lineman from Nebraska will sign the contract when he gets to Tampa.
Davis had break out year as a senior, highlighted by 11 tackles for loss and eight sacks in his first season in a starting role. He joins Ndamukong Suh as fellow Nebraska alumni now on the Bucs defensive line.
This leaves five of the Bucs’ seven draft picks from the 2020 class still unsigned. The players remaining are Antoine Winfield Jr., Ke’Shawn Vaughn, Raymond Calais, Chapelle Russell and first round pick Tristian Wirfs.
