The deadline for NFL teams to get to the 53-man roster limit is not until Saturday at 4 p.m., but the Buccaneers haven’t been wasting time. The team started contacting players early on Friday morning, and the news have been coming fast and furious with The Athletic’s Greg Auman reporting most of the cuts first.
Below is the latest reports of Bucs players who have been told they will not make the 53-man roster according to reports. Several will be back later this weekend as part of the team’s 16-man practice squad if they clear waivers. The list is unofficial until the Buccaneers send a press release later on Saturday.
We will update the list frequently throughout the weekend.
