This wasn’t how the Bucs wanted it to go in their Monday night football game against the Eagles. They were blown out 25-11 by their opponents in a game that never felt close, especially in the second half.
While there were a lot of bad moments for Tampa Bay, these were the players who stood out as the most impressive from the game.
ILB Devin White

White tried to do everything he could to help keep the Bucs in the game. He made seven tackles in his performance and picked off Jalen Hurts playing in zone coverage when the Eagles started out with great field position.
White was questionable to play in Monday night’s game due to a groin injury and you could tell he wasn’t 100%. At full speed, White takes that interception to the house for a pick-six, but he was running at a slower pace and had to go out of bounds only a couple of yards up the field. Given his injury, he still put out a great effort.
WR Chris Godwin
All of Godwin’s catches were for first downs, then he added a two-point conversion. He only had three receptions, but they were each helpful for the Bucs. As Tampa Bay attempted a comeback, Godwin caught the two-point conversion to cut the lead down to 25-11. Why he wasn’t involved more was puzzling for a Bucs offense that struggled all night.
S Ryan Neal
Neal helped give the Bucs some momentum early on in the game making a tackle on a 4th & 1 to get the Bucs the football again in the first quarter. It’s just his third game in this defense, but he looks more comfortable each week. Neal’s eight tackles and one tackle for loss were second-most on the team.

Tampa Bay putting the clamps down on several occasions saved this game from staying at just a blowout instead of a catastrophic loss. The Bucs were able to limit the Eagles in that area, also forcing a couple of turnovers and making the Eagles consistently go for it on fourth down. The Bucs at least made the Eagles fight for every yard.
P Jake Camarda
Camarda might have been the busiest man for the Bucs. He already handles kickoff duties and had to punt because of a safety as well. When he regularly punting, Camarda averaged 54.5 yards per kick, including a long of 74 yards. He continued a great start to his season, even if his coverage unit let him down in some big ways.
DB Dee Delaney
Because of an injury to Jamel Dean and with the secondary already missing Carlton Davis, the Bucs had to shuffle the deck with their rest of their defensive backs. This saw Dee Delaney getting more time on the defense, and he made a big play, sprinting over and recording an interception off of Hurts as he was looking in the end zone. Todd Bowles likes the experience that Delaney has with this group. He can be trusted with an expanded role, which he proved with the interception.
