The Bucs elevated two players from the practice squad to the active roster for the Week 18 game in Atlanta against the Falcons. Tampa Bay elevated outside linebacker Ifeadi Odenigbo (If-AH-Dee, Oh-DEN-EE-bo) and tackle Justin Skule (School). With left tackle Donovan Smith (foot) and outside linebacker Carl Nassib (pectoral) not playing on Sunday, the Bucs were shorthanded at those positions.
It marks the first elevation of the season for Odenigbo and the second for Skule. In addition, senior offensive assistant Rick Cristophel will be unavailable for Sunday’s game, according to the Bucs. His duties will be assumed by various members of the offensive coaching staff.

Odenigbo (6-3, 258) appeared in 13 games for the Indianapolis Colts this season prior to being waived on December 20, recording 12 tackles (three for loss), six quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks and one forced fumble. Previously, Odenigbo spent time with the Minnesota Vikings (2017, 2019-20), Arizona Cardinals (2018) and Cleveland Browns (2018, 2021).

Odenigbo entered the league as a seventh-round selection (No. 220 overall) of the Vikings in the 2017 NFL Draft and has since amassed 82 tackles (13 for loss), 37 quarterback hits, 14.0 sacks, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles in 54 career games played. The Centerville, Ohio, native played collegiately at Northwestern. Odenigbo wears No. 44 for Tampa Bay.
Skule (6-6, 315) has spent the majority of the 2022 season on Tampa Bay’s practice squad, having previously been elevated for the Week 16 game vs. Arizona. He has appeared in 31 career games, making 12 starts, since entering the league as a sixth-round selection (No.183 overall) of the San Francisco 49ers in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Skule spent the 2021 season on Injured Reserve for the 49ers after suffering a knee injury in June. The Clifton, Virginia, native is a product of Vanderbilt, where he started the final 40 games of his collegiate career. Skule wears No. 77 for Tampa Bay.
