On Saturday, the Bucs announced they have elevated wide receiver Cyril Grayson ahead of Sunday’s game against the Saints. Grayson has spent most of the 2021 season on the practice squad, but was elevated to the roster in Week 7. He’ll be needed while Antonio Brown nurses an ankle injury and Scotty Miller remains on injured reserve.

Grayson will likely appear in his seventh NFL game on Sunday. In the six previous games, the third-year wide receiver has caught just one pass for three yards in 2019. Last year, Grayson was targeted three times with two drops. The speedy receiver had a solid training camp, and will serve as Tampa Bay’s fifth receiver against the Saints. Grayson played 13 snaps in Week 7, including a few before the game was decided.
Given how many unsung heroes have made big plays in the recent Bucs-Saints battles, could Grayson be the next?
