After a 10-reception, 181-yard day against the Lions in Week 16, wide receiver Mike Evans needed just 40 on Sunday yards to reach 1,000 receiving yards in seven consecutive such seasons to start a career, breaking a record previously held by Randy Moss. Evans reached the milestone on a 20-yard reception from quarterback Tom Brady in the first quarter of the Bucs’ season finale against the Falcons on Sunday.

The newly written NFL record just adds to a number of franchise record already held by the veteran wide receiver.
