The Bucs had their last practice of the week with them playing on Thursday night football. Following practice, Todd Bowles told us that there are two players that are definitely going to be out for the game. That would be inside linebacker SirVocea Dennis and safety Rashad Wisdom.

Then Bowles talked about who is likely doubtful for the matchup. Those were Tykee Smith and Cade Otton.

Only those four names were uttered by Bowles. This means that wide receivers Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan are in play to go against the Falcons. They were listed as questionable on the last injury report. Other good news included that Tristan Wirfs didn’t have any game designation at all and is a full go.

“[They] looked good, they looked fresh,” Bowles said of Evans and McMillan. “They ran great routes, they looked like they never left. Obviously, they haven’t been hit or anything yet, but they looked good in practice.”

If they can play, Evans will be returning for the second time this season. He last played in Week 7 at Detroit. McMillan would be making his season debut after getting injured in a preseason game. Each return would be enormous for the Bucs, who have struggled heavily on offense.

Replacing Dennis at inside linebacker will be Deion Jones, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see either John Bullock or Nick Jackson in there, too. Christian Izien would go in for Smith if he’s unavailable, and Tampa Bay will have a tight end committee if they’re without Otton that would include Payne Durham, Devin Culp and potentially calling up Tanner Taula from the practice squad.
