According to Gambling.com, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the angriest fans in the league after the 2023 NFL Draft. A whopping 21.61% of Bucs fans’ reactions and posts about their favorite team across social media platforms were found to be negative.
That was tops in the NFL according to Gambling.com, which used a social listening tool called Linkfluence to analyze the social media reactions and posts on Twitter and Reddit of every NFL fan base and calculate the average percentage of negative reactions each team had on social media since the beginning of the NFL Draft.
The Browns had the second angriest fan base behind the Bucs, followed by Panthers fans – despite Carolina using the first overall pick to select Alabama quarterback Bryce Young.
Denver Broncos fans were the happiest and had the most positive reaction to their team’s draft picks, followed by the fan bases of the Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs.
Why Are Bucs Fans Supposedly So Angry?

Why is the Bucs fans base so angry? Is it because of a disappointing 8-9 record last season, capped off with a 31-14 loss to the Cowboys in the first round of the playoffs? Is it because dissatisfaction with head coach Todd Bowles, who is following one of the most beloved coaches in Tampa Bay history, Bucs Ring of Honor inductee Bruce Arians?
Is it because Tom Brady retired after three seasons in Tampa Bay? Or is it due to the fact that fans are underwhelmed with the two candidates to replace Brady – veteran journeyman Baker Mayfield and unproven Kyle Trask, a former second-round pick?
Or is it due to Devin White not being traded during the draft, or some of the less-heralded, less-known selections the Bucs made during the 2023 NFL Draft?
According to a recent Twitter poll by Pewter Report, most Bucs fans were happy with the draft and gave it a “B” grade.
